Novice Kitchen Wings
Ingredients:
Wings
Salt
Natural yoghurt or Buttermilk
Water (if you use yoghurt)
Black Pepper
All Purpose Seasoning
Novice Kitchen Balinese Jam or Tropical Heat
Stock Cube (Optional)
Cayenne Pepper
Dried Oregano
Coriander Powder
Garlic Powder
Vegetable Oil
1tbs of Honey
Corn Flour
Soy Sauce
Honey
Method:
In a bowl add the wings and all the dry seasoning, mix this all together.
In a ratio of 2:1 add the yoghurt and water then mix this all together with the wings and let this marinade for at least 1hr (the longer the better).
Once Marinated in another bowl add about 250g of corn flour or enough to coat all the wings in that juicy hot sauce.
In a pot or deep fryer pour in enough vegetable oil (probably the whole bottle) heat this up/
If you don't have a temp gauge to check the temperature of the oil, with a spoon place one of the wings into the oil. If the oil starts bubbling it should be at the right temperature.
Cook this for 7-8 minutes then remove it and cut through the wing to see if it is fully cooked.
If it is fully cooked, then you can start cooking the wings in batches.
Each batch should take 7-8 minutes after each batch allow a couple of minutes for the oil to get back up to temperature.
In a bowl add the Balinese Jam, soy sauce and a big tablespoon of Honey and toss the wings through.
Enjoy Novices!!
