Spicy Tteokbokki

Ingredients:250g Korean rice cakes1tbs Gochujang1tbs Gochugaru (red chilli flakes)4 spring onions (chopped)4 garlic cloves20 ml water50ml Soy sauce1tsp sesame oil1 1/2tbs sugarWhite & black sesameMethod:In a bowl add the rice cakes and pour in some hot water (enough to fully submerge the rice cakes and leave for 20 mins)Chop the spring onions and dice the garlic and add to a big bowlAdd the Gochujang, Gochugaru, soy sauce, water, sesame oil and sugar then stir well.Once the rice cakes are softened add to a pan on a medium to high heat add in half the sauce and stir until fully combined, save the other half and you can use it for up to 2 weeks.Garnish with black sesame & white sesame and spring onions.
